Happily married to Jonathan Steese. We have been a couple for 7 years and married for 3!

Children: 1 Miracle Micropreemie; Connor Adam Steese!

He was born when I was just 26 weeks and 5 days pregnant and weighed in at 1lb 12oz.

After 8 weeks in the NICU he came home and has since thrived! These days Connor is 18 months old, 23lbs, and 33 inches tall! He is completely caught up in terms of size, physical development and cognitive development! PTL!

Employment (other than Scentsy): Stay at home mom and wife (Best job ever!!! I was a middle school teacher in my previous life and am in no rush to go back.)

Favorite Indulgence: These days? Just a few hours by myself to read, nap, talk on the phone uninterrupted... basically all the things I failed to appreciate before I had a child!

Seaworld or Disneyland: East coaster here, so DisneyWORLD

Favorite Sweet Treat: mint chocolate chip ice cream

Summer or Winter: Neither. I prefer fall.

Dream Vacation Destination: Italy... art, wine, culture, history, faith and food! What more could a person need in a vacation?!?!

Morning or Night: Total night owl.

Why I joined Scentsy: I joined Scentsy to make some extra money! I am married to a teacher so making it on just his salary is pretty tough! Due to Connor's extreme prematurity he really could not be placed in a daycare setting. Therefore I could not go back to teaching full time, but to be honest my heart is truly at home with him. I am hoping that Scentsy allows my family to live a bit more comfortably and I am also looking forward to getting out of the house and an increase in adult conversation!!! LOL

Why I joined Scentsy: Maren turned me onto it. After she received her warmer, she suggested we buy one for our mom and once I smelled it in her home, I knew that I had to have one too. Then when Maren was talking about joining, we kind of talked oursleves into both doing it I am so happy that I did. I love the product and I have really enjoyed this journey with Scentsy.

Why I joined Scentsy: I was given my first warmer as a gift. From the moment I plugged it in and started "WARMING" (it took me awhile to stop saying BURN) it - I was hooked. I wanted all my friends and family to have one and was telling everyone about it. My friend that gave it to me must have known what she was doing, because she was trying to recruit me. Smart business move on her part. She convinced me that even though I was totally not the "SALES-PERSON" type, my love for Scentsy would sale the product for me. I believed her and decided to take the plunge. I haven't regreted it. I have had a "SCENTSATIONAL" time.

The first order of business on this blog - I would like to have a little Q&A session with everyone. I have found that I don't know as much about some of you as I would like. SO, I thought it would be fun if we all answered a few questions about ourselves - a little getting to know you party if you will.

OUR FAMILY ROOM

The definition of a family room is just that - a room where the family gets together. I created this "VIRTUAL FAMILY ROOM" so that our little Scentsy family would have a way to communicate with each other (ABSOLUTELY FREE). I would love for this blog to become sort of like a chat room for our team - a place to bounce ideas off of one another. A place where we can rejoice in our successes and share positive Scentsy experiences.

SO, e-mail me your ideas and I will post them here. We can then all read and respond to your entries.
